New toilet

You know how it is when a new toilet is just built and everyone wants to see how clean and nice it is? Well, the very same applies to supermarkets.

Giant, Kemuning Utama just opened yesterday(2nd December) and boy were there 'giant' amount of people. It was ridiculous! Like people haven't seen Giant before and were buying trolley load of stuffs *laughs*

I, for one really hate human traffic and because whicever part of the supermarket I went, I was pushed around. And I was there at 10pm and there were still thousands of people buying stuffs! What the! Therefore, I decided not to buy anything because the queue was super long and just went into a magazine shop and read some magazines LOL

This is what I call the 'new toilet' syndrome =p Just about everyone wants to experience first hand how the new Giant was- even ME!

Well, morale of the story is, don't ever go to some new supermarket on the very first opening. Go at least on the second day because guess what? The 'new toilet' syndrome dies off on the second day and now there is a significant drop in traffic around Giant today *laughs*

#1 Lesson from The VSFashionShow...Food Is Unnecessary!

So last night was the glittery extravaganza known as The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show!! While the show wasn't as great as previous ones I did love watching and thought it would be fun to recap with pics from the show and my thoughts after watching.

1. The models don't eat. No really, they don't eat. I'd say 8 out of 10 models looked too skinny and coming from me that's saying a lot! I love a skinny bitch as much as the next girl but those hos needed to eat a sandwich or 50.
2. I miss the golden days! Heidi, Giselle, Tyra etc...
3. Chanel Iman is too adorable for words. I literally want to scoop her up and put her in my pocket!
4. It's very irritating that you can't buy 98% of the things they show on the runway. I am specifically speaking of this Flashdance-esque blue/pink EXTRA sparkly sweatshirt. I died when I saw it and OF COURSE can't find it on the site for purchasing!
5. I think there are perhaps too many segments with wings in them. The wings are special and should have one or two segments of the show but it becomes overkill when every other girl has them.
6. KATY.PERRY.RUINS.EVERYTHING. She is so annoying and I was so sick of seeing her perform. SO SICK.
7. Speaking of performances, I could do without them.
8. Half naked gymnasts was a lovely addition to the show.
9. I feel it needs to be said again, the models are WAY TOO SKINNY
10. Every man in Hollywood was at that damn show!
11. I'm extremely jealous of the model dating the front man in Kings of Leon. SOOOO jealous!
12. The stylist for the show did a fantastic job! I especially enjoyed the shoes featured on the runway.
13. The gold runway covered in glitter made me so happy. SO very happy.
14. Miranda Kerr and Marissa Miller were missed, by me anyway.


All in all it was a good show and I was entertained. I do think that lingerie looks better on women with curves. I'm not saying super thick but some of the models looked like 12 yr old boys and that's really not sexy. Here's a link to a Fashion Show Blog from an insider, working for VS, at the show. World Aids Day

Every 1st of December is World Aids Day. Today is the 1st and in conjunction with World Aids Day, celebrities out there in support are officially DEAD! Digitally dead at least XD until they raise US1mil for the 'Keep a Child Alive' charity.

The campaign is normally symbolised with a red ribbon.

This day is to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and to help stop the spread of HIV. So stop having random unprotected sex!

HIV is a virus which causes AIDS(a disease). Of the 33.3 million people living with HIV globally, 2.5 million are children under 15 years of age. An estimated 370,000 children were newly infected with HIV in 2009. Further, it is estimated that more than 1,000 children are newly infected with HIV every day. More than 90 percent of HIV infections in children result from mother-to-child-transmission, where the virus is passed from a mother living with HIV to her baby during pregnancy, childbirth, or breastfeeding.

There is NO cure for HIV infection. Early infant diagnosis is critical, however. When anti viral treatment is administered as early as possible in the course of infection, it can only help children living with HIV lead longer, healthier lives.

Christmas!!

I cannot express how much I love Christmas...I love how the Christmas sale will start at the end of November. I love it when I go to shopping malls, I see all the beautiful Christmas decorations especially the huge and overly decorated Christmas trees. I love it when I hear Christmas carols and I sing along to them. I love it whenever I see a Christmas movie and it is always centred about family, peace and joy. I love it when on Christmas day we celebrate the birth of Jesus and my young cousins could be seen running around my house, opening presents and the house would be filled with laughter and joy!

I especially love it when I put up my Christmas tree in the house. I recently put it up as we do it 1 month before Christmas every year. Whenever I see the tree lights up with blinking colourful lights, my heart will skip a beat because it's so beautiful and it reminds me that Christmas is nearing! I can't wait for underneath the tree to be filled with presents!! But over the years, it seems like presents are getting lesser and lesser LOL coz we all grow big and old and presents are not really a necessity for adults anymore =p

But most of all, the celebration of Jesus is the most important. People often divert the meaning of Christmas and associate it with the birth of Santa Clause! It is so very wrong!! But with Christmas comes the meaning and spirit of Christmas which is peace, hope, joy and love and with these comes Santa Clause who gives joy to kids with presents and the birth of Jesus gives hope to mankind and joy and love is celebrated during Christmas month with families and relatives =))

I love the Christmas spirit! I hope too you will spread the spirit around and make this year's Christmas a truly memorable festival! Here's to the coming of Christmas <3
