Neurotic Ramblings...Christmas Eve Edition!

1. I cannot believe it's actually Christmas Eve. I still have no holiday cheer!
2. I randomly discovered a bottle of champagne in my fridge so Merry Christmas to me!!
3. It really bothers me that people take the Christ out of Christmas and replace it with an X. Even though people like to argue that in greek X=Christ but still, just say Christmas.
4. Got myself a Brazilian Blowout and I'm loving it!! It's my 3rd one and it's great. It's a curly headed girls best friend. I do want to say make sure you research the kind you're getting. I get mine done at an Aveda salon and they use the natural kind. It still works but doesn't have all the chemicals. If you go anywhere that says you can't wash your hair for 48 hours then it's got chemicals. I can wash mine after 24. Try ladies! You'll love it!
5. I am almost 26! AHHHHHHHHH. Surprisingly though, I'm not really freaking out. I flipped out about turning 24 and 25 but now I'm kind of like "eh wells".
6. What's the deal with Red Velvet cookies? When did these become all the rage? Everyone I know is making them.

Red Velvet with white chocolate chips. Sounds delicious!

7. I did some snooping at my mothers and discovered two original 1950s Barbie dolls! Exciting!!
8. I joined Tumblr last night because I was bored so if you have one follow me! Pinkis4gangstas
9. This weather sucks! It's 39 degrees and raining. Now mind you, it was 82 degrees at this time on Tuesday. Oh Texas.
10. I ordered my mother's gift online and have yet to wrap it. I don't think I'm going to either. Ghetto? Maybe. I like to think of it as helping the environment! I'm being Green!!
11. The black tutu I ordered from Forever21 arrived 2nd day air yesterday! Another Merry Christmas to me!!
12. Coming home for Christmas has made me realize how boring this city truly is; I don't see how they're going to have a Super Bowl here.
13. I am crushing hard on a boy. I'm planning on asking Santa to make him fall in love with me. I mean according to Brittany on Glee Santa can do anything!
14. I have yet to watch the PBS airing of The Nutcracker, perhaps that's why I don't feel in the Christmas spirit!
15. I do not understand people who wait til the last minute to shop then complain about the crowds. What the hell do you expect?
16. If you google Christmas in images this is the first pic that pops up

Somehow that doesn't strike me as in the Christmas spirit.
17. Loving the giveaway Statements in Fashion is doing! A Forever21 gift card is right up my alley!

I suppose that's it. I hope yall have an amazing Christmas Eve/Christmas! I'll be back this weekend to post about my loot I've scored! Haha. As always I'm wishing you

Luckily my birthday is 2 weeks after Christmas so I can request them as birthday gifts! Well, some of them anyway, because a lot of them are just me dreaming big!!

Some black RayBans! I forgot to request them on my Christmas list to my mother!

White chocolate Godiva Liqueur. YUMMMMMMM

This red Lanvin for H&M dress. PRETTY!!!! Still deciding if it's worth it to buy it yet.

Lastly, to one day be able to make a living off my blog like Emily from Cupcakes and Cashmere! I love her blog and that would be my dream, to just blog everyday and get paid!

Strips the Bunny Pie.

Let's welcome my very very random mood! =)

#1 Say Hello to my super duper cute Bunny Puppet which I named it as Mimo~ XD

As you all know, I am a right-handed so it's kinda hard for me to snap the left shot since my left hand is a little unstable =O

Can you do left and right too? =P

#2 Nah~ A half-eaten Apple Pie~

Wanna share? Nah~ I would like to finish it all by myself. =P
Oh, my dearest apple pie~ XD

#3 A super vain blogger who snapped her own pictures when she was having nose strips on her nose. =O

Obviously these photos were without make-up and took it LONG ago. =P

Tada! Done my "presentation". =P

Eat, Pray, Love...More Like Eat, Drink, Lounge

My outfit for my walk to the front office! Gotta love the moccasins!

Rolled out of bed this morning at 11 and it was already 70 degrees outside. By the time I walked outside to get my package from the apartment office it was almost 80. I mean hello TX! It's less than a week until Christmas and the high is in the 80s? LOVING IT!! Lounging around all day is always fun! My roommate left to go to south TX yesterday so I spent the day doing laundry and napping; I gotta tell ya, I could get used to this!

My pile of laundry that sat on the couch for quite some time!

After my nap I woke up and ordered some food, drank some wine, then watched Eat, Pray, Love. It was interesting. I think it may translate better in a book than it did in the movie. I mean it was a cute movie and all but it kind of dragged at certain spots and I think it could have been a bit shorter. I'm kind of interested in reading some of Gilbert's other things because after further research I saw that Coyote Ugly was based on an article she wrote as well. After watching the movie I decided it would be good to catch up on 2 seasons of Big Love since I didn't have HBO for a while and missed out on some good stuff!!

While perusing my daily list of blogs/websites I visit I was looking at LamasRichie and I saw the cutest little idea for a stocking stuffer! Stiletto tape dispensers!! How cute are these?!

Such a cute little gift for a stocking stuffer!

Another easy day doing nothing and today should be pretty much more of the same. Tonight however, I'm going to head out to happy hour with a friend of mine! We plan to go on a manhunt! Wish us luck!

A Girl's 1st Trip to H&M MUST Be Documented

So Monday marked day one of my winter break and I tell you having 2 weeks paid vacation never gets old. Anyway, my roommate and I decided to spend the day at Northpark Mall in Dallas since she needed to buy Christmas gifts for everyone and I NEEDED to see H&M. The mall was, as usual for this time of year, crazy and it was a bit overwhelming but we braved the crowds to buy gifts and then a little something for ourselves. We saved the H&M pop up store for last, as a reward for all our hard work shopping for other people.

The TUTU the design team in Macy's made for the Betsey Johnson display. I was SO in love with this thing. I tried to get them to sell it to me.

Finally after many trips to Foot Locker, Macy's, Claire's, and many other stores for other people we walked into Heaven on Earth; also known as H&M pop up store! When I first walked in I was completely overwhelmed because there was so much Lanvin for H&M all around. I wasn't expecting them to have any at the pop up store because I knew they only placed the collection in certain stores and I figured a temporary store in Dallas (until they build the new actual one in 2011) wouldn't have it. The displays for his collection were so cute and the dresses were so pretty!!!

First thing I saw when I walked in!

At first I felt kind of silly taking pics inside a store but for a fashionista on a budget having an H&M is kind of like finding gold, or for us Texas folks, striking oil, so I felt the need to document my first adventure there! Expect many more pics when the actual store opens!!

My goal was to go in and not lose my mind and I must say I'm very proud of myself! My roommate only got one top and I only bought 2 tops and a skirt. I think this has more to do with the fact that it was a popup store and not the full H&M experience! I don't know what we would of done had we had a full fledged H&M at our disposal. Anyway below are a couple of pics of my purchases. I'm in love with the red corset top and it was only 17 dollars. I just purchased a little black tutu from Forever21 which happens to be my current favorite place for moderately priced, fashionable pieces. Although, I must admit H&M shall quickly replace them in my heart once the full store is here.
