#1 Thanks to Uncle Pennan, He actually organised a private party at Times Square Hotel Suite which get to view the scenery of most of the fireworks in KL!

Fun Things in 2011

Since I did a year end wrap up I thought it would be fun to have my first post of 2011 be about all the things I'm looking forward to in 2011!




SXSW!!!!! I'm so freaking excited AND at my new job I actually get all of spring break off! So I don't have to take any vacation to party!!! I love it. Free music, people, and fun for a full week. It's fantastic.



Blackberry Playbook release! I must admit I am intrigued by this. It's apparently going to blow the Ipad out of the water. We shall see.



New Blue Bloods and Sookie Stackhouse novels coming out this year! I've been dying for a new Sookie Stackhouse novel.



Halloween! I know, I know, it's only January 3 BUT I'm very excited to start piecing together elements of my Black Swan outfit! I think it's going to be magnificent.



Love. 2011 needs to bring Brittany more LOVE!



I want to run a half marathon this year. Then a marathon in 2012! Starting off slow.




In-N-Out Burger and H&M coming to Dallas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These are two very fantastic things happening this year!



SUPER BOWL!!!!!! IN ARLINGTON!!! I plan to stalk as many famous people as possible!




Last, BUT certainly not least,the death of the sequin and one shouldered dresses! Let's go ahead and end this trend. Sequins are fine and all but if you're trying to be a part of the trend you've missed it. Sequins were big at the end of 09 beginning of 2010. So all the girls in their sequined dresses on NYE should have worn them last year. The one shoulder/asymmetrical dresses are just DONE TO DEATH at this point. I heard through the grapevine (aka someone who follows Kimmy K on Twitter) that even she has said she needs to retire them. It was cute and interesting at first but at this point it's time to find a new style.


So there it is! A few of the things I'm really looking forward to in the new year! Hopefully 2011 kicks more ass than 2010 did!

Golf!

I used to joke with my dad that if I were to ever drive a golf ball, one swing and either the golf ball would still be on the ground or my whole arm will will fly across the field =p

And so my dad wanted to prove me wrong that golfing isn't that hard! So off we went to a driving range and started practising =p At least he was practising and I was playing a fool *laughs*

Let me tell you; golfing is HARD! One word: Accuracy....Accuracy is very very very important. Firstly, you must be accurate to hit the ball or else you'll just hit air. Secondly, when you hit the ball, you must be accurate to hit at the centre of that tiny ball or else you'll hit the grass and the ball and it'll go sideways. Thirdly, you must hit the ball straight or else it'll fly elsewhere and you'll never know it might hurt someone else LOL

It's not easy to just hit the ball. I knew that and now I really really know that haha...Besides, even if you do hit accurately, it might not reach where you want it to go XD

Oh well, practice makes perfect! I should start practising more- or NOT! We'll see if I have the mood to drive golf balls =p
