Public holiday!!

Wow, I cannot believe it...Malaysia winning the AFF Suzuki Cup has made such an impact on our Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib till he declared tomorrow, 31st Dec a public holiday LOL

Unbelievable *laughs* Then Malaysia should win more trophies, no? Bring back more trophies so that we can have more holidays. But anyway, whether tomorrow is a public holiday or not makes no difference to me since I am on hols now.

But it's good to those who are working coz since New Year is on a Saturday and there is no extra holiday, they can have the extra holiday tomorrow and celebrate New Year's eve =))

The finals of the Suzuki Cup has brought many Malaysians together and liven up the spirit of the footballing team. It's definitely a day to be proud of and I guess it's appropriate for the public holiday declared!

WOOTS!!! Malaysia was awesome in the finals of both legs of the AFF Suzuki Cup!!!

Malaysia won the first leg 3-0 but lost the second leg 1-2. Nevertheless Malaysia still won on aggregate 4-2...YAY!!!!

I'm so happy at the same time very excited while watching the match LOL
Congratulations to our Malaysian football team and the coach Rajagopal. I'm sure they would have a very welcoming  parade when they touchdown in KLIA =)

Jiayeen's version of Christmas Eve.

At 1st, we(me and Jayren) wanted to go to I-City but.....seems like no one goes to I-City in the morning, right? Haha!

So so, we changed our plan to Dim Sum+do something meaningful! XD

I am craving for Steamboat but Jayren was craving for Dim Sum!

#3 Have you heard of Toy Banks at Cheras Leisure Mall?

The concept is like....
1) The orphans wrote their wishes on tags and hang in the mall;
2) we pick a tag;
3) Select what we wanna buy for that child;
4) Wrap it nicely;
5) Drop the present into the Toy Bank.

The due date to drop your present into the Toy Bank is 26th of December and they will be distribute out the presents to the orphans who people picked their tags. =)

Means the chances of them getting chosen by us to buy them presents is quite minimum, isn't it?

Hey People, we have parents to buy us things every year, no matter is daily life or festive seasons.
What about the orphans? I don't think so the person-in-charge of the orphanage would have that much of money to sponsor every orphans christmas gifts.

Not that I am rich or what, just...at least do something to help them. =)

It's Not A Bag...It's A Birkin

So I stayed up all night! I'm telling you a 2 week vacation is a good and bad thing. My sleep pattern is all thrown off and now I've been staying up later and later each night. Around 3 I decided to try and sleep but it didn't work so I decided to read a little then wait til 5 and hit up the gym. My apt gym is 24 hours but I didn't want to go in there too early, 5 seemed like a safe time. Ha!

These babies hadn't seen the gym in over a month!

Anyway while watching MTV I was pleasantly surprised to discover they were showing performances from this past decade of VMAs and as I was contemplating skipping the gym I saw Britney Spears' Slave 4 U performance!

Just the motivation I needed to get my lazy ass up and start working out again! I got back around 6, showered, ate some oatmeal watched some SATC (thus inspiration for the title of this post) and finally crashed!


No real plans for the rest of the day/night. I'm kind of embracing this nocturnal thing though so we shall see what happens. I like hitting the gym early when it's empty and there's something peaceful about being up so late at night. There's hardly anyone online and my apartments are eerily quiet. I love being alone so this works for me. I'll probably have to pop a Tylenol PM on Sunday to get back in a routine for work but who cares! I shall enjoy the remaining days of this glorious vacation! Hope you all had/have a fabulous day!!

The coming end...

I cannot help but feel sad that the year's ending....Not coz of anything but because it means my holidays are ending soon =((

I need more time to enjoy LOL
So New Year is just around the corner. It has been quite a norm for people to have New Year's resolutions. But before that, we must check whether our 2010's resolutions were fulfilled haha
I cannot say that I have fulfilled all of it but safely, most of it (that's good enough I guess!)

For the next year, I haven't thought about what I want to achieve. But one thing is lingering around my thoughts: To be less of a shopaholic and more of a study-a-holic *laughs* And it comes with this thought: I do not think I can achieve it =p

So I'll just leave that aside for awhile LOL

On another note, the year 2011:
- is going to be a start of a new decade.
- has CNY so much earlier(YAY!)
- is the year where there will be price hikes(yikes!)
- is not a leap year(too bad for Feb 29 babies)

and hopefully a better year <3

So I made it through Christmas! Yay. I got everything I asked for and a couple extra things in the form of my mom paying my phone bill for the month of January! I love how you appreciate those things when you're a grown up! I didn't ask for anything extravagant so I gladly took her up on that offer. Now that we've all made it through Christmas it's time for New Years Eve! I finally made up my mind to do ABSOLUTELY nothing! I'm quite looking forward to it.

For the last couple of years I've had this thing about going out and partying and just being over the top for NYE or that I HAD to spend it with a boy! They say that whomever you spend NYE with is who you'll spend the year with but after last year I can ASSURE YOU that is not true. So this year after mentioning to my roommate that I felt like doing nothing and her agreeing, we've decided to do just that. A couple of close friends will come over and we shall sit around, bake cookies, drink wine, and relax. I'm so looking forward to it. My birthday is exactly one week after NYE so I will have my fun then!

I'm looking forward to 2011. I enjoyed 2010 and I definitely had some changes but for some reason I'm really ready to turn 26 and just experience this next year. Anyway, I hope you all had a great Christmas and as always here's a little pretty to end the post!
