I live in TX, to be specific, I live in Dallas, TX and thus, I'm surrounded by Cowboys fans. I'm not really a Cowboys fan but they're the hometown team and I like them. I'm not really a big NFL fan in general, aside for my IMMENSE love of Peyton Manning, but I have a soft spot in my heart for the Cowboys. I think it was the years of being younger and experiencing what it was like when we dominated. A part of me longs for those days again because there are few things better than celebrating a Super Bowl win in your city. Yesterday, like most Sundays during football season the Cowboys played and yesterday, like SOME Sundays during football season the Cowboys lost.
My Twitter feed.

When they were winning...

And when they were losing...
So today's post is dedicated to the Cowboys fans I know and love. You may be gluttons for punishment but you're loyal, loud, and have some of the prettiest female fans ever! One day soon we shall be champs again! So should you find yourself yelling at your TV, on the verge of an emotional breakdown and/or heart attack, or generally contemplating how you've come to this point in your life as a fan remember there are some good things about being a Cowboys fan...
1. You're crazy! I mean seriously, ridiculously, crazy, and in the best possible way.
2. You're loyal. Oh they will talk sh*t about Tony Romo until the cows come home but you better not say a word about him if you aren't a Cowboys fan.

3. You have these lovely ladies supporting you.

4. You're DIE HARD! People in Texas are born and raised Cowboys fans. You will find generations of families where everyone is a fan of the team. There's really no other options. I can't prove it but I think some of y'all may actually bleed blue and silver.
5. The years and the RINGS from...
1971 (VI), 1977 (XII), 1992 (XXVII), 1993 (XXVIII), 1995 (XXX)
6. You are some of the most attractive fans ever! ( I may be biased since I live here. Haha)

7. It may be Jerry's World that we're living in but that's a damn fine stadium!

8. You're America's team! I think the Cowboys could lose every game for the next 20 years and people would still love them. There is no other football team that can say that.
9. Most Career Rushing Yards: Emmitt Smith, 17,162 yards (1990-2002).
Most Career Passing Yards: Troy Aikman, 32,942 yards (1989-2000).
Most Career Receptions: Michael Irvin, 750 receptions (1988-1999).
All-Time Leading Scorer: Emmitt Smith, 986 points (1990-2002).
Enough said.
10. When the Cowboys are good, they're very, very good. There's something to be said for the well oiled Cowboys machine when they are winning games. It can be a thing of beauty and no matter how many times they lose you can always look forward to that!

The thing is, people will always love the Cowboys and I happen to know a lot of those people. They also happen to be some of my favorite people to be around during NFL season. So don't give up hope friends! I know one day it will happen for you! Until then, you should spend less time hating Tony Romo and more time trying to get Lebron James to stop being a fan of your team. I can't pinpoint it but I'm thinking he's the issue! And if you can't put all the blame on Romo, defense, Jerry Jones, or Lebron (but really let's blame him!)...we can always blame Rick Perry! :)
