Fabulous Ladies!

So a couple of years ago I was introduced to a friend of mine, through another friend, that happens to be a fashion designer. Her name is Jessica Ramos but I will often refer to her as "Jess" in this blog. When I met her I knew she designed clothing but I wasn't exactly sure what kind of clothing and I didn't quite grasp the level of talent she had. After hanging out with Jess aka S.I.C Couture I decided that I would like her to make me a NYE dress. I'm very picky and change my mind all the time so I figured a custom dress would be the best route for me. I asked Jess if she could do it and she was more than willing and the outcome was AMAZING!! I received so many compliments on that dress and to this day every time I wear it at least a couple of people comment on it. Along, with the NYE dress she also made me a Birthday dress for my 25th and that is actually one of, if not my favorite, article/s of clothing that I own. I only told her a color and that I wanted it to be backless and she created a dress that is SO ME. It's amazing how people can do that. It makes me wish I was more creative. Anyway here are two pics of the dresses...

Through Jess I have had the pleasure of becoming "friends" (I use the quotes because we've never met but I feel like we have because of FB/Twitter)
Lisa Lisa, also happens to be incredibly talented, when it comes to taking photographs. You can visit her website here Lisa Michelle Photography. Lisa features shoots for all ages and pretty much every type of theme you can think of. She has these adorable sessions for little kids that she calls "minis", newborn sessions, bridal, model shots, and pretty much everything else you could imagine. As if she wasn't talented enough, she also does the hair and makeup for a lot of the shoots (she did it for this shoot).

Recently Jess has gotten attention for her line and will very soon be moving to New York to further pursue a fashion career; which I'm sure she will excel at. I'd just like to take a moment to say her motto is one of the cutest and cleverest ever-"SEXINESS IS CONTAGIOUS"! Anyway, since she just finished her debut collection and is in the process of moving she decided to get together with Lisa to do a photo shoot of some of her archived pieces. Both of my dresses happened to be in the shoot so I wanted to share some pics and show some love for two very talented girls!

I remember once watching an MTV Diary episode with Pink where she said she didn't quite understand why girls always felt the need to hate on each other. I remember the example she gave made me laugh because she said "if a girl is taking too long in the bathroom and you really have to pee don't yell at her; hand her some toilet paper and ask her if she needs help wiping!" While not to be taken literally I think this is a rule more girls should try and follow. Don't hate on girls, help them! Anyway I just wanted to take some time to show some love to two ladies that are super talented and deserve it! Hopefully when they're both rich and famous they'll remember this and Jess can design my wedding dress while Lisa takes the pics!

Hey I mean you can't expect me to have NO selfish motives ;)
Love you ladies!!
