Does the picture above bother you? I mean are you offended by this scenario? I honestly want to know because I'm baffled by the "controversy" surrounding it. Here's the back story, J Crew's president is featured in their catalog painting her son's toes. It was just a random thing they sometimes and apparently this has offended tons and tons of people!
The picture features the following caption "Lucky for me I ended up with a boy whose favorite color is pink. Toenail painting is way more fun in neon."
According to the article I read on Yahoo, which you can see if you click the link above, people are saying this picture is "exploiting the child to advance the liberal, transgendered identity politics." WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!? This is when people and their politics get on my damn nerves. I have no problem with people having political opinions and all but not everything is a secret ploy from the "shady liberals" to try and force our opinions on others. IN FACT, many could argue that is what certain other political parties try and do on a daily basis! :D

My main thing is how does a cute moment between mother and son get turned into A. a controversial topic and B. a political campaign for transgendered people? The kid is like 5 years old! Who cares if he likes to paint his toes hot pink! That doesn't mean he's gay, transgendered, weird, or his mother is a political activist for the liberal agenda! Furthermore if he was gay or transgendered THAT'S NOT BAD!!!!!!!!!! This country is in such a state of ridiculousness and yet people are still worried about nonsense like a little boy and his toes. Grow up people! SERIOUSLY, grow up! I wish I had a son so I could paint his toes right now! Ha!
