Five Things Friday

So one of my favorite blogs cupcakes and Cashmere does a 5 things post every Friday and I've decided to steal the idea. It shan't be a weekly thing I just happened to have 5 things I wanted to share with y'all today! So let's get to it...

1. Poppy Delevigne is my new favorite.

This week has been fabulous for finding ladies with style. I must say that London Fashion Week has produced much better street style than New York and we all know Paris shall be EPIC! Poppy has been off and on my radar for a little over a year now but I've seen a lot of pics of her in London this week and I'm definitely feeling her look. I'm putting together a LFW street style post for next week so you can expect to see some pictures of her in that. That little Chanel hot pants outfit is from the last set of shows and I loved it so I threw it in this post!

2. Hourglass is amazing

I stumbled upon this book while reading through friends "to read" lists on Goodreads and I'm so happy I read it. It is such an interesting take on the supernatural theme that EVERY YA book seems to be taking. At first you think it is a ghost story but it is actually something completely different and way cooler than that! I don't want to give anything away but y'all know how serious I am about book recommendations so trust me, it's great!

3. Covergirl nail polish

In a bit of "that's random" news I thought I'd share that the best manicure I've had in a while was one I did myself with Covergirl Boundless Color nail polish. I usually get Shellac or go to a nail salon and while the Shellac last two weeks it does occasionally chip before then. I am pleasantly surprised that after a weekend of fun and an entire week of work (which is brutal on my manicures) this nail polish looks perfect! Sometimes cheaper is better!

4. Everything boys need to know they could learn from Marvin, Otis, and the Temptations- This was just something I decided after a day of listening to old school music. I'm pretty sure I need a 1960s transplant ASAP.

5. UTSA Homecoming is this weekend!

A little piece of my heart will always belong to San Antonio and I had such a blast at the inaugural game that I wish I could be there this weekend! Alas, I cannot but I will be there in spirit! So good luck to my Runners at our first ever football game homecoming!!!!!!!!!!!
