So it's official Peyton Manning is pretty much done for the season. I suppose I should preface my immensely sad post with some background information for those who don't know me. Here's the deal, I live in this fabulous dream world where Ryan Gosling is my boyfriend, Marc Jacobs is my best friend, Peyton Manning is my older bro and I occasionally go to dinner parties at Anderson Cooper's house. Hey, I said it was a dream world, so don't even think about judging me.
Oh what are you doing?

Nothing much, just chillen with my bf...

and some of our peeps!
bahahahahh
Anyway, the news trickled down yesterday that my older bro had to have surgery on his neck again and that he's going to be out for 2-3 months. I figured he wasn't going to be playing against the Texans and that was bad enough (he hasn't missed a starting game since he was drafted) but now that I've found out he's not going to be playing for quite some time I'm distraught.

I knew this lockout was going to suck but I didn't think of all the random implications it would have on people. One of those implications was the fact that Peyton had no access to the training staff he's been using for years and years. He had to find all new people to help him rehab from his injury and I don't think that helped at all. I'm not saying that's the only reason he won't be playing Sunday but I'm sure it didn't help. There's a part of me that is trying very hard not to think worst case scenario. In my mind, it's a very crazy place yall, Peyton won't come back from this injury and will retire and I won't get to see him play again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, crazy. I am trying to step away from the ledge but it is very hard.
So pardon me while I go cry in a corner and try and regain some composure. I know somewhere The Texans and the rest of the AFC South are rejoicing. I'm not saying Peyton is the end all be all but him being out is definitely going to change some of those rankings. Woe is me yall, WOE.IS.ME. I'm not quite sure how to prove it but I definitely blame Rick Perry for this. ;)
