They Call It a Man Diet

On Friday night I decided that I was going to make a change in the boys I date, simply put, I decided I was "off white boys". Now, now, let me explain! I am an equal opportunity dater, I love all races of boys and focus more on hotness than race (hey, don't judge me! Looks matter!) but I realized I had been focusing all my boy search on white boys. I don't know when or how that happened but it did! I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that A LARGE percentage of black boys in my area don't even date black girls. Adapt or die and all that jazz. So in an effort to broaden my dating pool I've decided to go on a man diet of sorts. After thinking about it for a while I discovered there are a couple of other things I need to cut from my diet as well if I want to lose all that dead weight, affectionately known as, the a**holes I've been dating recently.

The diet I've come up with is as follows...
1. When indulging in sweet treats introduce a little tall/dark/and handsome into your every day diet while simultaneously cutting out a lot of the fatty blond hair/blue eyed complex carbs. This should create the balance my life hasn't had in a while.
Thinks more...

and less...

2. Whenever possible try to avoid that tricky ingredient known as Ionlytalkaboutpoliticsandmypoliticalviewsaretheonlyonesthatareright. These can be hard ingredients to spot at first but make sure that you pay close attention and don't consume them if you find them. This can be a very hard ingredient to swallow.

3.Avoid high fructose corn syrup like the plague. High fructose corn syrup also goes by the name 30K millionaire. It's disguised as one of those guys who leases his Lexus, BMW, Mercedes etc... and covers himself in Affliction and/or Ed Hardy. You see high fructose corn syrup wants you to think it's the same as regular sugar (i.e. men with money) but it is most definitely not. The ironic thing is, a lot of things are great without all that added fake sugar but you'd never know because it's SO intense.

4. Trans fat may be the trickiest to spot because it is very good at hiding inside a yummy package. Trans fats are very very bad for your diet because they usually come as a 2 for 1 deal and have double the calories. Trans fats most definitely are not single.

5. Try and avoid some of the delicacies I've been raised on, meaning, not everything needs to be southern fried! On the east coast they are known for a lighter model of boy that's better for your diet. The lighter model usually has better packaging, in the form of nice suits. Southern fried things are good in moderation but it's nice to try new things!

Ahhh the east coast boy can be such a delicious treat!

6. Beware the term organic for not all thing slapped with an organic sticker are good for you. These usually come in the form of a gym rat. You know the type that works out a couple hours of day 7 days a week. The type that think two-a-days are a normal part of the day. Their occupation usually happens to be personal trainer.

I have definitely been overindulging and haven't had a well balanced diet in quite some time. They say everything in moderation and I suppose that is the most important thing to remember here. I don't plan to cut out all these things at once but I plan to explore some of the other food groups I haven't introduced into my diet. Although one must remember, a growing girl needs a little bit of everything to thrive! ;)
