Garden Lifestyle Store and Cafe

I was lagging in blogging these past weeks due to my finals and then now that I'm after all the exams, I've been going out non-stop *laughs*

So, I was also lagging in a lot of my reviews. I have food reviews, movie reviews and product reviews- some samples sent to me, some I got it and some products I bought. Yeap, I do have a lot of things to blog about- I just need the time to do it LOL

Okay, to start it off, I am not really a food blogger, but since I've been trying many new restaurants lately for my 20th bday, might as well write about it =))

So after exams, about 20 of us went to the Garden Lifestyle Store & Cafe at Gardens, Mid Valley.

There's only one thing you can say when you first see the restaurant, the scenery is soooo beautiful!!

We went there at lunch time and since there were so many of us, they could not fit us in and so we had to wait 10 minutes. I suggest if you want to eat lunch there, you have to go early coz it's quite a popular lunch place.

The place is near the bridge between Mid Valley and Gardens, that's why the scenery outside is just picturesque.

They have set lunches to choose from. You can choose from any main course which includes one ice lemon tea with a reasonable price. I ate Chicken Teriyaki and it was delicious. I tried the pasta as well and it tasted good! So I reckon the food there is nice. No one complained about it as well. The portion is medium sized and the presentation made it even better looking =))

The waiters were very friendly especially when they had to rearrange the tables to fit all of us in. The food came fast too. So, overall, the whole experience there was very comfortable!! Very recommended place to go! =)

Besides, if you bring your girlfriends there, it's a good place to camwhore because there's a beautiful piano in a cage, small waterfall, flower vans, white staircase and just garden sceneries which are perfect for pictures!! I especially chose that place because I saw how beautiful the place was in my friend's album and it did not dissapoint!

Spot the piano in the cage!

Best Weekend Ever

"The best night of your life but we do this every weekend!" -Mac Miller

So this weekend I attended my first bachelorette party and I can honestly say I don't know if I can handle anymore of those! It was insane. I knew it would be fun because my friend is fabulous and so obviously her party was going to be on that same level. We all met at her house and had some pre dinner cocktails then hopped on the party bus and were driven to FTW. We had dinner at Gloria's and then ended up at The Library, Pete's Piano Bar, and Vice in downtown FTW to party! All in all it was an excellent party and her bridesmaids and family put together something that I will never forget. I did learn a few things from the adventure though.

That cooler doesn't even do the amount of alcohol that was on the bus justice!

Things Learned

1. The party doesn't need to start so early! We ended up meeting at 6 and then leaving her house at 7 and having dinner around 8. By the time we all made it to dinner we were, let's just say, feeling good! Haha. A bus ride of about 45 minutes plus an hour of pre-drinking did that. So for all you future brides I would just plan to either have late dinner and bar hopping or just bar hopping.
2. Boys LOVEEEEEE bachelorette parties. Haha. We kept getting approached all night long. It was mildly amusing.
3. If you live somewhere with a Pete's Piano Bar it is SUCH a great place to have a bachelorette party! The dueling piano guys are so funny and love bringing the ladies on stage.
4. PARTY BUS, PARTY BUS, PARTY BUS! If you do one thing for your party get a damn party bus! Not having to worry about driving to different bars is so convenient for your guests.I loved it. Also, the atmosphere on the bus is awesome and gets you in the mood to party!

I definitely enjoyed myself and am looking forward to the next bachelorette party I attend but I hope it isn't for a while. I need to recover from this one! Oh and as a little aside, I've chosen to only post the "tamer" pics because the goings on of a good bachelorette party should be kept secret! Haha.
