Death by Hamburger
So it's been 10 days since I decided to only have one meal out a week and here are some of the things I've noticed.
Pros
1. My body looks fantastic! My stomach is the flattest it's been in a while and I kind of love it. I also just look and feel leaner.
2. I have a bit more energy. I think that all the random bad stuff I was eating kind of weighed me down.
3. I am much more conscious of what I'm eating. I wasn't expecting this but it is kind of nice. I never really paid attention to what I was eating before but I've started to now and I think that shall really help with my weight loss.
4. I am much more aware of how much money I spend eating out.

Cons
1. I work 10-7 4 out of the 5 work days and starting next week I will have Fridays off but be working 10 hour days. On a good day I get home by 740 on a bad day who knows. It is hard to have the energy to cook myself something after getting home that late and dealing with all the nonsense I deal with on a daily basis.
2. A lot of our weekend fun revolves around food. My friends and I are a bit older now so we don't go out and party as much. We have dinners and lunches out and when you aren't eating out as much that can be hard.
3. Sometimes I just really want a damn burger! I'm not one for restricting myself because I think that leads to binge eating but I had a plan for the month and I'm sticking with it.
4. I'm having a problem with the gray area. I haven't figured out if trips to Starbucks for green tea/fraps or trips to Sprinkles for cupcakes count as eating out! Since I'm trying to tone up I've decided to just say that they count and not go there.

So far these are the only things I've really noticed. It is too early to really form an opinion on this experiment but we shall see!
