Welp, I guess summer is officially here and I'm kind of loving it! I kicked off my summer last week when my college began our 4 day work weeks. We'll be doing them until August and while 10 hr days can be brutal the extra day off can be awesome. 3 Day weekends are nice but we actually have a couple of 4 day weekends this summer too thanks to awesome holidays.
This weekend shall be one of those lovely weekends thanks to Memorial Day on Monday! I plan to read at least two books and watch "The Other Guys" and "Love and Other Drugs" during my mini vacation and I can't wait! Along with those big plans (gotta love sarcasm!)I will be celebrating the last single weekend of one of my favorite people! She's gotten a party bus and planned a night of pre-party cocktails, dinner at Gloria's, and a party bus all over downtown FTW. She's the first friend I've had that I've gone through the whole wedding process with and I'm excited to experience this party and her wedding next week.

It also happens to be the birthday weekend for my oldest friend! We met in 5th grade and I'm very excited to help her welcome her 26th year this weekend! Anyway, I hope the rest of you have a fun weekend and at least get to enjoy a 3 day weekend! I'll be partying, reading, watching movies, working out, and hopefully having some Memorial Day BBQ!
