#1 Lesson from The VSFashionShow...Food Is Unnecessary!

So last night was the glittery extravaganza known as The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show!! While the show wasn't as great as previous ones I did love watching and thought it would be fun to recap with pics from the show and my thoughts after watching.

1. The models don't eat. No really, they don't eat. I'd say 8 out of 10 models looked too skinny and coming from me that's saying a lot! I love a skinny bitch as much as the next girl but those hos needed to eat a sandwich or 50.
2. I miss the golden days! Heidi, Giselle, Tyra etc...
3. Chanel Iman is too adorable for words. I literally want to scoop her up and put her in my pocket!
4. It's very irritating that you can't buy 98% of the things they show on the runway. I am specifically speaking of this Flashdance-esque blue/pink EXTRA sparkly sweatshirt. I died when I saw it and OF COURSE can't find it on the site for purchasing!
5. I think there are perhaps too many segments with wings in them. The wings are special and should have one or two segments of the show but it becomes overkill when every other girl has them.
6. KATY.PERRY.RUINS.EVERYTHING. She is so annoying and I was so sick of seeing her perform. SO SICK.
7. Speaking of performances, I could do without them.
8. Half naked gymnasts was a lovely addition to the show.
9. I feel it needs to be said again, the models are WAY TOO SKINNY
10. Every man in Hollywood was at that damn show!
11. I'm extremely jealous of the model dating the front man in Kings of Leon. SOOOO jealous!
12. The stylist for the show did a fantastic job! I especially enjoyed the shoes featured on the runway.
13. The gold runway covered in glitter made me so happy. SO very happy.
14. Miranda Kerr and Marissa Miller were missed, by me anyway.


All in all it was a good show and I was entertained. I do think that lingerie looks better on women with curves. I'm not saying super thick but some of the models looked like 12 yr old boys and that's really not sexy. Here's a link to a Fashion Show Blog from an insider, working for VS, at the show.
