Weekend Roundup Yall!!

So this weekend was pretty eventful, especially considering I had hopes & dreams of doing NOTHING!! Friday night I went out to for reverse happy hour and it was amazing!! If you have a Kona in your area you should really grab a couple of friends and take part in it. So much food and drinks that are half price. It's amazing! A couple of friends and I went and basically ordered everything off the food menu, don't judge us, and pigged out!! For some reason that day I was really craving champagne so we decided to pop a couple bottles too. It's was pretty amusing because the waitress was all "what's the special occasion?" I just looked at her and replied "nothing, I felt like some champagne!" I love nights like that. After Kona I went out to meet up with a couple of friends and that was even more fun! I must say while out Friday night I decided to throw on a big, felt, black, floppy hat and it was a hit!


It was funny because while a few girls gave me compliments the boys seemed to be the ones that really appreciated the hat. Love it!

Saturday I pretty much lounged around all day and watched a marathon of The Walking Dead with my roommate while trying to decided if we should go out. A couple of friends came into town so we decided to go to Ghost Bar, inside the W hotel, in Dallas. None of us had ever been and it was interesting to say the least. A very random atmosphere and bar but it was fun. We actually got escorted in by the hotel manager and the bouncer wanted to know why we were cutting the line. The manager just looked at him and said "they don't have a table but look at them, pretty, well dressed girls, come on!" It was a nice ego boost. After we left the bar we went to get food and somehow ended up in Highland village where all the fancy stores are located. I had never seen the new Christian Louboutin store so I made the driver stop so I could take a pic!

All in all it was pretty fun times! Ending the weekend with a trip to see Burlesque and some Five Guys Burgers & Fries! I just discovered there's one in Dallas so I'm very excited!!! Hope you all had a great weekend! One more week of work for me then Christmas vacation!!! YAY!!!
