A Girl's 1st Trip to H&M MUST Be Documented

So Monday marked day one of my winter break and I tell you having 2 weeks paid vacation never gets old. Anyway, my roommate and I decided to spend the day at Northpark Mall in Dallas since she needed to buy Christmas gifts for everyone and I NEEDED to see H&M. The mall was, as usual for this time of year, crazy and it was a bit overwhelming but we braved the crowds to buy gifts and then a little something for ourselves. We saved the H&M pop up store for last, as a reward for all our hard work shopping for other people.

The TUTU the design team in Macy's made for the Betsey Johnson display. I was SO in love with this thing. I tried to get them to sell it to me.

Finally after many trips to Foot Locker, Macy's, Claire's, and many other stores for other people we walked into Heaven on Earth; also known as H&M pop up store! When I first walked in I was completely overwhelmed because there was so much Lanvin for H&M all around. I wasn't expecting them to have any at the pop up store because I knew they only placed the collection in certain stores and I figured a temporary store in Dallas (until they build the new actual one in 2011) wouldn't have it. The displays for his collection were so cute and the dresses were so pretty!!!

First thing I saw when I walked in!

At first I felt kind of silly taking pics inside a store but for a fashionista on a budget having an H&M is kind of like finding gold, or for us Texas folks, striking oil, so I felt the need to document my first adventure there! Expect many more pics when the actual store opens!!

My goal was to go in and not lose my mind and I must say I'm very proud of myself! My roommate only got one top and I only bought 2 tops and a skirt. I think this has more to do with the fact that it was a popup store and not the full H&M experience! I don't know what we would of done had we had a full fledged H&M at our disposal. Anyway below are a couple of pics of my purchases. I'm in love with the red corset top and it was only 17 dollars. I just purchased a little black tutu from Forever21 which happens to be my current favorite place for moderately priced, fashionable pieces. Although, I must admit H&M shall quickly replace them in my heart once the full store is here.
