Christina gets arrested! Say what?!
So Christina Aguilera was allegedly arrested for public intoxication. Apparently her and the new bf were pulled over because he was drunk and driving (he was arrested for a DUI). I've been saying that Christina post divorce was reminding me a lot of Britney post divorce and that is NOT a good thing. It appears I was right and Christina is traveling down the same kind of path. I didn't expect this from her but she's been acting a tad strange for a while now. I'd like her to get life together. I think she should start by getting rid of this loser she's dating and perhaps hitting the gym!

Charlie Sheen is NUTSO

Ohhhhh Charlie Sheen. Where to begin? WHERE TO BEGIN? So it all started when Charlie had some choice words for CBS. When I heard about his little rant I thought that would be the end of it. I mean they shut down production on the show and that was that. How wrong I was! Charlie then went on a media blitz to end all other media blitzes. The Today Show, TMZ, Piers Morgan and then to top it all off he joined Twitter! Within less than 6 hours of joining he had over 800 thousand followers. He's well over a million now and the hilarity is just great.
Here's the thing. Radar Online is claiming they've drug tested Charlie every day this week and he's passed each one. There are no drugs in his system at all, not even prescription. Nik Richie, who runs The Dirty is claiming otherwise. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I kind of think he's sober and just a little bit off. This is why I'm amused by all of this. I honestly don't think he's a danger to his kids. He has a couple grown children and then his two girls with Denise Richards and I think if he was a horrible father that would have come out by now. I think his current ex Brooke, who is an admitted drug addict, is trying to get some fame. Anyway, I'm LOVING all the stuff Charlie is doing. He's got us talking about him and that is some great publicity! People just need to accept that he's a warlock from Mars with tigerblood and Adonis DNA flowing through his veins and he's ALWAYS WINNING! HAHAHAHH

So for those of you that don't really follow fashion news John Galliano is the man in charge over at Dior. He designs masterpieces, I mean serious works of art, and is basically the only reason that fashion house succeeds IMO. Well John got a little drunk and went on an anti-semitic rant about Jewish people. You can watch the rant below.
After allegations of the rant came out Dior suspended John but once the video came out they fired him. I am shocked. I can see their point of view I mean they could potentially lose business. Natalie Portman, who is Jewish, was supposed to wear a gown designed for her by Galliano to the Oscars and ended up switching to Rodarte and a couple of major stores having gotten rid of his clothes too. So yes, Dior did what they thought would protect their business but in the end I don't think it will be good for them. I need to make it clear that I in NO WAY condone his behavior but he was drunk and went on a rant and I don't really feel that should amount to him being fired. I'm hoping though that he ends up getting back on track, he's headed to rehab, and creates his own line. He's simply too talented to let all that creativity go to waste.

The cast includes "Fat Actress" Kirstie Alley, former boxer Sugar Ray Leonard, TV talk-show host Wendy Williams, the original "Karate Kid" Ralph Macchio, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward, and Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson.
I usually don't pay attention to the press releases about the cast of this show because I don't watch. However, it's usually moderately famous people! I mean B list celebs and athletes and even A list sometimes. This cast leaves MUCH to be desired. I do think it may be a bit interesting though. I hear Kirstie Alley is paired up with that nutso that Brandy had last year. I think hilarity is almost guaranteed.
Who will play Katniss
So by now you all know I read a lot of books. Well a while back I read The Hunger Games trilogy (seriously if you haven't read this yet DO IT NOW!) and ever since I've been impatiently waiting for casting news about the movie. I was hoping they would go the Alice In Wonderland route and cast an unknown but it's looking like that shan't happen. A lot of young actresses in Hollywood are clamoring for this role because basically it's the role of a lifetime. Think Harry Potter. Basically what Harry Potter did for its actors this movie shall do for its own. THIS is one of the main reasons I was hoping for an unknown. Anyway, this week there has been a lot of talk of casting with a couple of new names thrown in the ring for Katniss (the lead actress).

She would actually be a great choice for Katniss' younger sister but she's too young to play Katniss IMO.

Again, I think she's too young to play this role. Anyway these are the three main girls whose names I've heard over and over this week. I'm not really thrilled with any of them. I am holding onto hope that the casting people involved with this movie will go the unknown route. We shall see.

So the Biebs bday was Tuesday I believe and to celebrate he went out to dinner with Selena Gomez, his boo. Here's where the story gets kind of fuzzy. According to numerous sources his fans were there and one of them ended up punching Selena in the lip. Her people have since come out and denied this but I honestly don't buy it. I think for PR reasons it is better to say it wasn't his fans when we all know it was. I mean they have threatened Selena's life and defiled Esperanza Spalding's wiki page when she beat Justin at the Grammys. So yes, they're maniacs. That is really scary on so many different levels. It just goes to show what I've been saying; the kids of today are crazy! They're also sex crazed but that's neither here nor there. There's no way in hell any N'Sync fans from back in the day would have beat up Britney Spears! HA!
So there you have it! Another week of madness in the celebrity world! I must say, sometimes I think what if I don't have enough gossip to do my Friday posts and by Tuesday I have more than enough. Ha, gotta love it! In some personal news, one of my lovely followers over at That Girl asked me to do a guest blog on her site and she posted it yesterday. If you get the chance, go and check it out!
