Moving Time?



Our apts have decided to go up around 200 dollars per month in rent (and that’s if you sign a 15 month lease) so we’re probably gonna be moving! I really don’t feel like moving but I have no time for that much of a rent increase!



Work, Work, Work!



Craziest time of year in higher education is August, followed closely by January. So I’m slaving away at work this month and I don’t love it. I’m beginning to realize that while I enjoy my job (for the most part) and working in higher ed, I’m over it. There’s just no one to advocate for the staff when you work in higher education. Everyone’s focus is on the students and the faculty and the students are pretty much allowed to act a DAMN FOOL and that’s OK. I need to start looking for something else.



H&M FINALLY!!!!



So after the tease of a pop up store and then months with NOTHING H&M is finally opening in Dallas today!!! I really want to miss work and go shopping but alas that’s not what grownups do! I can’t wait to check it out though!



Most Eligible Dallas



I’ve decided to continue watching this show because it’s like an experiment to me. I’m going to do a follow up post every Tuesday because I really enjoyed the live blogging! I think it will be fun to watch other people have horrible dating lives in Dallas. Courtney is pretty much my soulmate! I’ll probably be 29 and single still, just like her. SAD. Haha.



Speaking of dating…



My love life is all over the place. I’m dating this guy that I see potential with but he 1. Thinks rick perry is a genius 2. Is a HARDCORE Republican and won’t shut up about it and 3. Doesn’t woo me enough. All these things could be addressed and possibly corrected in one conversation but I really don’t feel like having one. I just miss the days when dating was simple.



UTSA Football!!!!!!!



Labor Day weekend I’m heading to San Antonio to watch UTSA’s first football game!!! I’m so excited for a reunion with all my 21OH! Friends!!!!



An Oreo Brownie Addiction



I've recently become ridiculously addicted to these thick, delicious, chocolately squares of heaven called Oreo Brownies. Apparently they're being recalled though and they aren't making anymore!?!??!?! Can someone please provide me with any info you may have!
