SXSW!!!!! I'm so freaking excited AND at my new job I actually get all of spring break off! So I don't have to take any vacation to party!!! I love it. Free music, people, and fun for a full week. It's fantastic.
Blackberry Playbook release! I must admit I am intrigued by this. It's apparently going to blow the Ipad out of the water. We shall see.
New Blue Bloods and Sookie Stackhouse novels coming out this year! I've been dying for a new Sookie Stackhouse novel.
Halloween! I know, I know, it's only January 3 BUT I'm very excited to start piecing together elements of my Black Swan outfit! I think it's going to be magnificent.

In-N-Out Burger and H&M coming to Dallas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These are two very fantastic things happening this year!

Last, BUT certainly not least,the death of the sequin and one shouldered dresses! Let's go ahead and end this trend. Sequins are fine and all but if you're trying to be a part of the trend you've missed it. Sequins were big at the end of 09 beginning of 2010. So all the girls in their sequined dresses on NYE should have worn them last year. The one shoulder/asymmetrical dresses are just DONE TO DEATH at this point. I heard through the grapevine (aka someone who follows Kimmy K on Twitter) that even she has said she needs to retire them. It was cute and interesting at first but at this point it's time to find a new style.
So there it is! A few of the things I'm really looking forward to in the new year! Hopefully 2011 kicks more ass than 2010 did!
