So I was never really big on shows/bands/live music until I got to college. I had an awesome roommate, that in any other circumstances besides college I probably wouldn't have found who loved shows! She introduced me to so many different bands/genres and I shall forever be grateful to her. Since college I've made it a point to get down to SXSW every year and enjoy the best that Austin and free live music has to offer!
For those of you that don't know or haven't been SXSW is a mix of artists, shows, movies, music, free food, free drinks, parties, people from all over the world, and fun that all comes together in Austin Texas every March. It's one of those experiences that I feel everyone should go to once; ESPECIALLY people that live in TX. It's kind of magical. 
Adrian Grenier was even there in the Levi's Fader Fort. The Fader Fort is a magical place with free shows/food/liquor all during SXSW.
Anyway, after falling in love with music festivals I've always had a wish to go to Coachella but never really thought it could happen. It's pretty much SXSW but in California and on a much grander scale. The two festivals are back to back with SXSW in March and Coachella in April and it never really seemed within my budget to make it happen. This year however is looking like a real possibility and I'm almost too scared to get excited!
Unfortunately, my work schedule will prevent me from going on the first day of the festival because it's our first day of Summer registration where I work and that is simply not going to happen for me. I figured it's still worth it to go for a Saturday and Sunday and I'm hoping that by flying in Friday right after work and getting that time difference I can still make Kings of Leon since they're headlining!

Anyway, things are starting to come together and my friends and I are making some real plans. We shall just have to see if it really happens for me but I must admit it's fun to hope! Here are a few pics from Coachella throughout the years! Hope everyone has a fabulous Friday!!!
